Puerto de Pollença, the harbour of Pollença, is located in the north of Mallorca and around 6 km from the old town. The bay offers kilometres of fine sandy beaches, some of which are protected from the wind by the Formentor peninsula. In contrast to other holiday resorts on Mallorca, the coast is not completely built up with multi-storey hotel castles.
