Pollenca is 15 km away and it is 20 km to the north coast, with the well-known towns of Puerto de Pollenca, Alcudia and Puerto de Alcudia. All relevant Spanish (Mercadona and Eroski) and German (Lidl and Aldi) supermarkets are available in Inca (approx. 10 minutes drive). Palma as well as the longest beaches of Mallorca in the bay of Alcudia are only 20 to 30 minutes away. The probably most interesting flea market of the island takes place every Sunday in Consell, which is only 10 minutes away. Thanks to the good transport connections, the villa is an ideal starting point to many beaches, good shopping possibilities, wonderful excursion destinations, hiking and cycling trails as well as to the airport of the island capital Palma. IMPORTANT In the Balearic Islands there is a tourist tax, called Ecotasa, which has to be paid for every guest over 16 years of age. Per day and person, the tax is from 1 November to 30 April: 0,55 euros and from 1 May to 31 October: 2,20 euros. From the ninth night onwards, this amount is reduced by half. The Ecotasa can be paid by credit card, bank transfer or cash. Payment is compulsory.
